What Factors Affect Your Concrete Slab Cost?

These starting-from prices assume standard conditions. The following factors can affect your final cost:

Slab Size and Thickness

Larger slabs and thicker concrete (e.g., 150mm vs 100mm) will increase the cost due to more material and labour.

Site Access

Difficult access requiring additional equipment or manual labour can increase costs. Easy access with clear space reduces costs.

Soil Conditions

Brisbane's reactive clay soils may require additional preparation, excavation, or subgrade work, affecting the final price.

Reinforcement Type

Different mesh types and specifications affect cost. Premium reinforcement options will be reflected in your quote.

Finish Type

Standard broom finish is included. Special finishes (polished, coloured, textured) will have additional costs.

Excavation Requirements

Sites requiring significant excavation, removal of existing concrete, or debris removal will have additional charges.
